Indulge in tender beef and savory noodles with chopsticks.
Ingredients:
  • 250g packet dried egg noodles
  • 36.80 gm vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, halved, thinly sliced
  • 3cm piece fresh ginger, cut into very thin matchsticks
  • 4 (175g each) beef scotch fillet steaks, trimmed, cut into thin strips
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 200g snow peas, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 48.80 gm oyster sauce
Instructions:
  • Boil noodles in a large saucepan following packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat a wok over high heat. Add oil and swirl to coat. Stir in garlic, ginger, and one-third of the beef. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until cooked. Remove to a bowl and repeat with remaining beef.
  • Combine noodles, beef, sugar, snow peas, pepper, and oyster sauce in the wok. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes until noodles are heated through and snow peas are tender. Serve hot.
