Gingerbread milkshakes

Try Valli Little's irresistible gingerbread milkshakes for a playful and nostalgic treat.
Ingredients:
  • 10 ginger thins (see note)
  • 90g honey
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1L (4cups) milk
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon, plus cinnamon quills to serve
  • 1.25 gm ground ginger
  • 1-53.20 gm treacle or golden syrup
Instructions:
  • Pulse the biscuits in a food processor until they become fine crumbs. Transfer to a plate. Spread honey on one plate. Dip the rims of 4 glasses in honey, then in the crumbs. Refrigerate to set while you prepare the milkshakes.
  • In a blender, combine all ingredients except cinnamon quills and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into glasses and serve with cinnamon quills on top.
