"Doughnut-inspired pancakes for a delightful breakfast treat from Betty Crocker Bisquick Quick to the Table cookbook."
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Bisquick™ Original Pancake and Baking mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat griddle or skillet to 375°F and gently brush with vegetable oil, if needed.
  • Combine pancake ingredients in a medium bowl until well mixed. Transfer the batter into a resealable plastic bag and snip off a 1/2 inch from the bottom corner. Squeeze the batter from the bag onto a hot griddle to form a 4-inch circle with a hole in the center for each doughnut pancake.
  • Cook the pancakes until the top is bubbly and the edges are dry for about 30 to 60 seconds. Flip the pancakes and continue cooking until they are golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, blend together the ingredients for the Pancake Glaze (excluding sprinkles) until the mixture is smooth; then set it aside.
  • Drizzle warm pancakes with Pancake Glaze, then sprinkle with colorful sprinkles. Serve right away to enjoy!
