Quick and easy sticky Asian classic perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients:
  • 8 boneless pork rashers (pork belly – about 1kg), skin removed
  • 80ml hoisin sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
  • 18.20 gm peanut oil, plus extra to brush
  • 2 x bunches broccolini, split lengthways
  • 1/2 bunch spring onions, thinly sliced lengthways
  • 1 long red chilli, seeds removed, thinly sliced lengthways
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200C. Line a baking tray with baking paper, then roast the pork in a single layer for 15 minutes, turning halfway through, until it's a light golden color.
  • Mix together hoisin sauce, five spice, minced garlic, and peanut oil. Take the pork out of the oven and generously coat it with half of the glaze. Return pork to the oven and continue roasting, turning and brushing with the remaining glaze every 10 minutes, until it's caramelized and fully cooked, about 30 more minutes.
  • Preheat a chargrill pan or frypan over high heat. Brush broccolini with oil and cook for 5 minutes, turning once, until lightly charred and tender.
  • Top tender pork and vibrant broccolini with zesty spring onion and spicy chili for a delicious and satisfying meal.
