Treat your Valentine to a decadent fruity cocktail this Valentine's Day.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 tsp dried or fresh lavender flowers (see note)
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 125ml water
  • 60ml Glenfiddich Scotch whisky (see note)
  • 30ml pear liqueur (see note)
  • 30ml fresh passionfruit pulp (from 1-2 passionfruits)
  • 250.00 ml ice cubes, plus extra to serve
  • 2 fresh lavender sprigs, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof jug, mix lavender flowers, sugar, and boiling water. Let it sit for 15 minutes to infuse and cool. Strain the mixture into a small jug, removing the lavender before serving.
  • In a cocktail shaker, mix Glenfiddich, pear liqueur, passionfruit pulp, lavender infusion, and ice. Shake vigorously for 2 minutes until the shaker is very cold.
  • When ready to enjoy, divide the mixture into serving glasses, add more ice on top, and beautifully garnish with fresh lavender sprigs.
