Elevate your pie with a crunchy gluten-free pretzel crumb crust.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Gluten Free Original Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps® Minis crumbs
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 vanilla bean, scraped
Instructions:
  • Crush Pretzel Crisps® in a food processor until they become fine crumbs. Combine the crumbs with melted butter in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Grease a pie dish with butter, then press the crumbs onto the bottom and sides of the dish. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • Whisk 8 egg yolks in a mixer until light. Mix in heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla bean seeds. Beat on medium speed to aerate. Pour the mixture into a chilled pie crust.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for about an hour. If the top browns too quickly, gently skim it with a spoon and continue baking. The pie is done when the center is slightly jiggly but set. Let it cool, then refrigerate until completely chilled.
