Try this quick and easy cherry cobbler made with Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix for a tasty fruit dessert in under an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine fruit mixture ingredients in an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Microwave uncovered on High for about 4 minutes or until bubbly around the edges; stir.
  • In a medium bowl, use a spoon to mix together all topping ingredients except 1/2 teaspoon sugar until a stiff dough forms. Drop the dough by 6 spoonfuls (about 1/4 cup each) onto the warm fruit mixture. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon sugar over the dough.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the topping is a beautiful golden brown. Serve while warm.
