Indulge in our gluten-free oat flour dark chocolate cherry walnut cookies for a unique twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie. Featuring rich flavors of oatmeal combined with the crunch of walnuts and sweetness of cherries.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ Gluten Free Oat Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried cherries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine oat flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat softened butter and sugars on medium speed for 3 to 5 minutes until fluffy, scraping the sides of the bowl occasionally.
  • Mix the egg and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in the oat flour mixture until just combined. Add the chocolate chips, cherries, and walnuts.
  • Spoon tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the tops are dry and light brown. Let them cool for 3 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow them to cool completely for about 15 minutes before storing in an airtight container.
