Delicious gluten-free doughnut holes rolled in cinnamon-sugar, perfect for a delightful breakfast treat! Made effortlessly with Bisquick® Gluten Free mix.
Ingredients:
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cups Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
  • Heat 2 to 3 inches of oil in a deep fryer or 2-quart heavy saucepan to 375°F. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients until smooth. Shape the dough into 1 1/4-inch balls and carefully fry 5-6 balls at a time in hot oil for 1-2 minutes until golden brown all over. Drain on paper towels and then roll them in cinnamon-sugar while they are still warm.
