Whip up delicious no-bake honey peanut snack bars in a flash.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups Honey Nut Chex™ cereal
  • 1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup honey or light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Grease a 9- or 8-inch square pan with butter. Combine cereal and peanuts in a large bowl; set aside.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan, gently heat honey and sugar over medium heat until just boiling, stirring constantly. Take off the heat, then mix in peanut butter until smooth. Pour this mixture over the cereal in a bowl and gently stir until everything is evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into a pan and let it cool for 15 minutes.
  • - Place chocolate chips in a small microwavable bowl and microwave uncovered on High for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until melted and smooth. - Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the bars and allow it to set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes. - Cut the bars into 4 rows by 6 rows before loosely covering and storing them at room temperature.
