Whip up irresistible pumpkin and peanut butter puppy treats using brown rice flour. Shape and bake for your furry friend to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups brown rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Stir all ingredients in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Split the dough in half. Roll out each half to 1/2 inch thickness on a surface dusted with brown rice flour. Use a 3-inch cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Arrange the cutouts about 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until dry and golden brown. Let sit for 1 minute, then transfer from the cookie sheet to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely, around 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the treats to a dog treat jar and store at room temperature for up to 1 week. For extended storage, place in the refrigerator or freezer.
