Gnocchi with burnt butter and oregano

Quick and easy global recipe with just a few supermarket ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 500g pkts potato gnocchi
  • 100g butter
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 125.00 ml fresh oregano leaves
Instructions:
  • Boil gnocchi in a large saucepan of bubbling water according to package instructions. Drain and return to the pan.
  • While the butter is melting in a small saucepan over medium heat until foamy, add the garlic and season with salt and pepper. Simmer until the butter begins to brown slightly.
  • Stir oregano into the butter mixture and cook for 1 more minute.
  • Drizzle the melted butter mixture over the gnocchi and gently toss to evenly coat.
