Easily recreate restaurant-style dish at home.
Ingredients:
  • 1 quantity Basic Potato Gnocchi (see recipe on taste.com.au)
  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 125.00 ml sage leaves
  • 120g pkt Baby Spinach
  • 50g walnut
  • Grated parmesan, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Boil a large pot of water. Cook one-quarter of the gnocchi in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes until they float to the surface, then transfer them to the lined tray using a slotted spoon. Repeat this process in 3 more batches with the remaining gnocchi.
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter until it foams. Cook the sage until crisp, about 1-2 mins, then transfer to a plate using a slotted spoon.
  • Combine the garlic, gnocchi, and spinach in the pan. Season with your favorite spices. Cook while tossing until the gnocchi is evenly coated in the butter mixture and the spinach has wilted.
  • Serve the gnocchi mixture in individual bowls. Top with crispy sage leaves and walnuts, then finish with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
