Ingredients:
  • 100g unsalted butter, chopped
  • 16-20 small sage leaves
  • 800g gnocchi, cooked
  • 80g parmesan
  • Salt, to season
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt the chopped butter. Add sage leaves and cook, swirling the pan often, for 4-5 minutes until the sage leaves are crisp and the butter turns a deep nut-brown color. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss gnocchi in burnt sage butter in the frying pan until coated. Serve in bowls, spooning over any remaining burnt butter. Sprinkle with parmesan and enjoy right away.
