Celebrate your golden anniversary with a dazzling golden Chex® mix creation!
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 4 cups Multi-Bran Chex™ cereal
  • 1 cup whole cashews
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 container (0.04 oz) edible golden hearts, if desired
Instructions:
  • Combine cereals, crunchy cashews, and plump raisins in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • In a 2-cup microwave-safe measuring cup, heat butter, mustard, honey, and seasoned salt uncovered on High for 1 to 2 minutes until butter melts and mixture is hot. Stir well. Drizzle over cereal mixture and mix until coated. Microwave uncovered on High for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture starts to brown. Enjoy!
  • Lay out on waxed paper or foil to cool, then store in an airtight container.
