Indulge in heavenly caramel-filled cupcakes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 quantity Basic cupcakes (see related recipe)
  • 135.00 gm firmly packed brown sugar
  • 24 jersey caramels
  • icing sugar mixture, to decorate
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C and generously grease two 12-hole, 1/3 cup-capacity muffin pans. Prepare Basic cupcakes as per the related recipe, substituting brown sugar for caster sugar. Insert 1 caramel into the center of each cupcake before baking.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
