Make Gooey Caramel Monkey Bread with canned biscuits. Perfect for baking with kids - let them dance while shaking the dough in a bag to family tunes. Fun and tasty breakfast treat!
Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 cans (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (8 Count)
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously grease a 12-cup fluted tube cake pan.
  • Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large gallon-size plastic bag. Divide the dough into 16 biscuits and then cut each biscuit into quarters.
  • Coat biscuit pieces in sugar mixture by shaking in a bag, then arrange in pan. Sprinkle any remaining sugar mixture over biscuits.
  • In a small saucepan, bring butter and brown sugar to a boil over medium-high heat; let it bubble for 1 minute while stirring constantly. Pour this delicious mixture over the biscuit pieces.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until biscuits are deep golden brown and fully cooked in the center. Let them cool for 5 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate, pull apart, and enjoy warm.
