Keto-friendly butter bread - a delicious grain-free treat made with almond flour and eggs, perfect for satisfying bread cravings.
Ingredients:
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups finely ground almond flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 0.125 teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions:
  • Gently crack each egg into your hand, letting the whites fall into one bowl and placing the yolks in a separate bowl.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), then generously butter a loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  • Combine almond flour, baking powder, salt, and egg yolks in a food processor. Stream in melted butter while pulsing until mixture forms a dough, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Add cream of tartar to the egg whites and whip until soft peaks form. Place a third of the mixture into a food processor and pulse, scraping down as needed until blended. Gently fold the mixture into the egg whites until well combined. Transfer the batter into the loaf pan.
  • Bake in the oven until beautifully golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, around 30 minutes.
  • Using a thin knife, loosen the edges of the bread and allow to rest for 10 minutes. Invert the bread onto a wire rack and cool to room temperature before slicing.
