Ingredients:
  • 1 head cabbage, cored and chopped
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 (12 ounce) package farfalle (bow tie) pasta
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1.5 cups cooked ham, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 pinches white sugar, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-low heat, gently melt butter and cook cabbage and onion until soft and tender, approximately 30 minutes.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add bow tie pasta and cook until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
