Creamy Greek yogurt sauce with Cheddar, peas, bacon, and bell pepper elevate classic penne pasta salad.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package penne pasta
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 5 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 6 slices cooked crispy bacon, minced
  • 0.5 bell pepper, chopped
  • 0.25 onion, minced
  • 1 (6 ounce) container plain Greek yogurt
Instructions:
  • Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Cook penne until al dente, about 11 minutes. Drain and transfer to a large bowl. Stir in frozen peas to thaw and cool the pasta simultaneously.
  • Combine the savory Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, flavorful bell pepper, and aromatic onion in the mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly. Gently fold in the creamy Greek yogurt. Enjoy right away or chill for future indulgence.
