Sautéed green beans and mushrooms with carrots, onions, and savory spices.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch lengths
  • 2 carrots, cut into thick strips
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 0.5 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon white pepper
Instructions:
  • Fill a pot with a 1-inch layer of water and bring it to a vigorous boil. Add green beans and carrots to the boiling water, cover, and cook until just tender. Drain the vegetables before serving.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add onions and mushrooms, sauté until almost tender. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Combine the green beans, carrots, salt, seasoned salt, garlic salt, and white pepper in the pot. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
