Whip up these delicious and easy pancakes for a tasty breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 green shallots, trimmed, finely sliced
  • 18.20 gm peanut oil
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, gently heat soy sauce and sugar until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally. Let it cool before using.
  • In a bowl, beat eggs with a balloon whisk for about 1 minute until well beaten. Add green shallots, sift flour over the top, and whisk with a fork until a smooth batter forms.
  • Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Pour in batter and cook until golden underneath, then flip and drizzle oil around the edges. Cook until golden on the other side.
  • Cut the pancake into 8 wedges and serve with a drizzle of sweetened soy sauce.
