Green Tea-Honey Nut Granola

Ingredients:
  • 6 cups Honey Nut Clusters® cereal
  • 1/2 cup cashew halves
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed green tea (2 bags per 1/2 cup hot water)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried mangoes or apricots
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 300°F. Grease a 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray. Combine cereal, cashews, and pecans in a large bowl.
  • Heat brown sugar, tea, and honey in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly until the brown sugar is melted. Pour the mixture over the cereal blend, toss to coat well, then spread in a pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Continue baking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until crispy and glazed. Mix in mangoes and cranberries. Allow to cool for 15 minutes (mixture will crisp upon cooling). Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
