Elevate grilled veggies with a burst of bottled dressing for added flavor, depth, and vibrant color.
Ingredients:
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 3x1/2-inch strips
  • 1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup purchased balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing
  • 1 (4-oz.) pkg. sliced portobello mushrooms
Instructions:
  • Preheat the contact grill for 5 minutes until hot.
  • In a large bowl, mix bell pepper, onion, and salad dressing until evenly coated.
  • Once the grill is hot, use tongs to transfer the bell pepper and onion from the dressing onto the bottom grill surface. Keep the leftover dressing in a bowl. Close the grill and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Toss mushrooms in the reserved dressing until coated. Using tongs, transfer the mushrooms to the vegetables on the grill. Close the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until all the vegetables are tender.
