Grilled Bell Pepper and Cheese Pizza

"Quick and delicious grilled pizza with meatless toppings ready in 20 minutes using a pre-made crust!"
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 package (16 ounces) ready-to-serve original Italian pizza crust (12 inches in diameter)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
  • 1 large bell pepper (any color), thinly sliced and cut into bite-size pieces (1 cup)
  • 1 small sweet onion (Bermuda, Maui, Spanish, Walla Walla), thinly sliced (1/2 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill. Spread pizza sauce on the crust, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, top with bell pepper, onion, and basil, then finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
  • Lay the pizza on heavy-duty aluminum foil or a pizza pan. Grill covered over medium-low heat for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the pizza is heated through.
