Indulge in the ultimate lunch combo with these mouthwatering patty melts - a fusion of grilled cheese and a burger.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound 85% lean ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal-style steak seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 6 slices Colby-Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • Mix together ground beef, fresh parsley, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and steak seasoning until fully incorporated. Shape the mixture into three equal-sized patties.
  • Preheat a nonstick griddle over medium heat. Cook the burgers to your liking, about 4 to 6 minutes per side, or until an instant-read thermometer registers at least 160°F (71°C) when inserted into the center. Set the burgers aside once done.
  • Preheat a second griddle over medium heat. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Place half of the bread slices on the griddle, buttered-side down. Layer a slice of cheese, a burger patty, and another slice of cheese on each. Finish by topping with the remaining bread slices, buttered-side up.
  • Cook until the bread is a beautiful golden brown and the cheese is ooey gooey melted, flipping halfway through, for 6 to 10 minutes.
