Grilled Cheese Roll Ups

Cheesy grilled roll ups for dunking in tomato soup.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices artisan-style bread
  • 4 slices sharp Cheddar cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
Instructions:
  • Lay bread slices on a cutting board and gently trim off crusts.
  • Flatten the bread using a rolling pin and spread butter on the edges of the bread.
  • Lay a slice of cheese on the unbuttered side of the bread, then roll the bread and cheese together to form a beautiful spiral.
  • Preheat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Place the roll-up in the skillet, buttered side down. Grill until golden brown on all sides. Remove from skillet and optionally slice diagonally. Enjoy!
