Melty trio of cheeses and flavorful mayo, garlic, and green onion stuffed in grilled cheese sticks for a delicious and fun snack!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, divided
  • 2 slices day-old sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated Jack cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons minced green onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 dashes cayenne pepper
Instructions:
  • Spread a thin layer of creamy mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread, then generously sprinkle with savory Parmesan cheese, pressing gently to ensure it sticks well.
  • Mix together the leftover mayonnaise, Cheddar cheese, Jack cheese, green onion, garlic, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  • Place one bread slice with the Parmesan layer facing down, generously spread the Cheddar cheese mixture, then cover with the second slice of bread to create a delicious Parmesan-crusted sandwich. Cut into 4 equal slices.
  • Preheat a nonstick pan over medium heat, then reduce to medium-low. Cook sandwich sticks until golden brown and cheese is gently melted, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
