Lemon and honey haloumi with pink peppercorns recipe

Grilled haloumi: a sweet and sticky delight perfect for a flavorful Middle Eastern feast with hummus, figs, tabouli, and pita bread.
Ingredients:
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 42.00 gm fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • 2 x 225g pkt haloumi
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 40.00 ml fresh oregano leaves
  • 1 tsp pink peppercorns, crushed
Instructions:
  • Slice the haloumi thinly. In a shallow dish, mix honey, lemon juice, and dried oregano. Add the haloumi slices and coat them by turning.
  • - Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. - Cook haloumi slices for 1 minute each side until golden brown. - Drizzle with reserved honey mixture. - Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with fresh oregano and crushed pink peppercorns before serving.
