Grilled chicken with tangy fruit and savory herbs for a peachy surprise!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup peach preserves
  • 1/4 cup raspberry vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano leaves
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (1 1/4 pounds)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grill for direct heat. In a 1-quart saucepan, bring the preserves and vinegar to a boil, stirring constantly until the preserves are melted. Transfer about 1/4 cup of the mixture to a small bowl for brushing on the chicken. Stir in the oregano into the remaining mixture and set aside to serve with the chicken.
  • Season the chicken with a savory blend of garlic pepper and seasoned salt.
  • Grill the chicken over medium heat, turning once and brushing with preserves mixture during the last 10 minutes of grilling. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until the center of the thickest pieces is no longer pink. Serve with reserved preserves mixture with oregano.
