Tangy and sweet marinated chile-lime chicken, grilled to perfection for a burst of flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lime, zested
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 4 medium skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
  • Combine lime juice, olive oil, garlic, lime zest, salt, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and cumin in a small bowl. Marinate chicken in the mixture in a sealed bag or covered bowl in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours.
  • Prepare the grill by preheating it to medium-high heat and lightly oiling the grate.
  • Grill the chicken breasts until golden and charred, about 5 minutes per side. Rest on a plate for 5 minutes, then slice and garnish with cilantro.
