Grilled Corn-Stuffed Turkey Burgers

Stuffed burger with delicious surprises inside - a mouthwatering surprise in every bite!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Progresso™ plain bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon canned chopped chipotle chiles in adobo sauce
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 2 tablespoons thick & chunky salsa
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices (3/4 oz each) Cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
Instructions:
  • Preheat your grill. Combine turkey, bread crumbs, and chiles in a large bowl. Form the mixture into 8 patties that are 1/4 inch thick.
  • Mix together freshly cut corn kernels, flavorful salsa, fragrant cilantro, and just the right amount of salt in a small bowl. Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the corn mixture onto the center of 4 patties. Place the remaining patties on top and press the edges to seal them together.
  • Grill patties over medium heat for 12 to 14 minutes, flipping once, until the center reaches 165°F. Top with cheese and cover to melt, then serve on buns with optional salsa and chopped cilantro.
