Savory kabobs with sweet and spicy sauce, packed with potatoes, chicken, and sausage - a satisfying meal for the heartiest appetites.
Ingredients:
  • 6 new potatoes, each cut into 4 wedges
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 pound fully cooked smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill. Place potato wedges in a microwave-safe dish. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and microwave on High for about 4 minutes, stirring once, until potatoes just begin to soften; then drain.
  • Skewer the potatoes, chicken, sausage, and bell pepper in an alternating pattern on six 12-inch metal skewers. Combine the remaining ingredients to make a flavorful mixture.
  • Grill the kabobs over medium heat, turning occasionally and brushing with chili sauce in the last few minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked, about 15-20 minutes. Make sure the chicken is no longer pink.
