Savor this perfectly grilled cheesy ham sandwich, ready in just 25 minutes for a delicious dinner option.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 8 slices whole-grain bread
  • 6 tablespoons mango chutney
  • 8 oz extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 12 oz thinly sliced smoked ham
Instructions:
  • Preheat a griddle or a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of each bread slice. Spread a generous tablespoon of chutney on the unbuttered side of 4 bread slices. Layer a quarter of the cheese and ham on each. Finish with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing up.
  • Place the sandwiches in a skillet and cook uncovered for about 3 minutes until the cheese is slightly melted and the bread is browned. Flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 3 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the sandwich is golden brown.
