Upgrade your grilled cheese with succulent ham and sweet pineapple for a tropical twist!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 slices thinly sliced cooked ham
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Butter one side of each bread slice. Place up to 4 slices of bread, butter side down in the skillet. Top each with a slice of cheese, two slices of ham, and around 2 tablespoons of crushed pineapple. Cover with remaining bread slices, butter side up. Cook until one side is golden brown, about 1 minute. Flip sandwiches and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat as needed for remaining sandwiches.
