Succulent beef, sautéed mushrooms, and melted Swiss cheese on a grilled burger bun.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
  • 0.5 teaspoon seasoned meat tenderizer
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns
Instructions:
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by heating it to medium heat and lightly oiling the grate.
  • Shape the ground beef into 6 equally-sized patties and season with meat tenderizer, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add mushrooms and soy sauce; sauté until beautifully golden. Set aside, keeping it warm.
  • Grill patties on the preheated grill for approximately 6 minutes per side, until they reach an internal temperature of at least 160°F (70°C).
  • Evenly distribute the flavorful mushroom mixture over the patties sizzling on the grill, then crown each one with a slice of luscious Swiss cheese. Close the grill lid and let the cheese melt to gooey perfection, approximately 1 minute. Finally, delicately lift the patties off the grill and present them on soft hamburger buns for a delightful meal.
