Grilled nectarines with goat and gorgonzola cheeses and cabernet syrup - a delicious summer treat!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup goat cheese
  • 0.5 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk, or more as needed
  • 4 nectarines
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, simmer Cabernet and sugar until it thickens to half a cup. Allow the syrup to cool.
  • Combine creamy goat cheese and bold Gorgonzola in a blender along with a splash of milk. Blend until velvety smooth, adding more milk a tablespoon at a time if needed.
  • Halve the nectarines lengthwise and discard the pits.
  • Brush the nectarines with a subtle touch of olive oil and grill them for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • After the nectarines have cooled, generously fill the center of each one with creamy goat cheese mousse, then elegantly drizzle them with Cabernet syrup.
