Grilled beef sandwich with zesty salsa, creamy avocado, and melted cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 boneless beef sirloin steak, 1 inch thick (1 lb)
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 6 hoagie buns, split
  • 3/4 cup thick & chunky salsa
  • 1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 6 slices (1 oz each) Colby-Monterey Jack cheese blend
Instructions:
  • Preheat grill. Season both sides of beef with seasoned salt, garlic-pepper blend, chili powder, and oregano.
  • Grill the beef over medium heat, turning once or twice, for 8 to 9 minutes until cooked to your liking. Toast the buns, cut sides down, on the grill for the last 4 minutes.
  • Thinly slice the beef. Smear approximately 2 tablespoons of salsa on the bottom of each bun. Layer with beef, avocado, cheese, and place the top of the bun on.
