Grilled Steak Caesar Salad

Savory, cheesy Caesar beef delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup fat-free cholesterol-free egg product
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 lb boneless beef top sirloin steak, 1 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup garlic-flavored croutons
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (2 oz)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grill for direct heat. Shake all dressing ingredients in a tightly covered container until fully blended. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Season beef liberally with freshly cracked black pepper. Grill covered over medium heat for 15 to 18 minutes until medium rare (160°F), flipping once. Slice beef thinly against the grain before serving.
  • Combine crisp romaine lettuce, crunchy croutons, flavorful cheese, and zesty dressing in a spacious bowl. Arrange succulent beef slices on top. Optionally, garnish with more shredded Parmesan cheese. Enjoy your delicious salad!
