Grilled tuna melts with a delicious smoky twist - irresistible!
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (6 oz) tuna packed in water, drained
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tablespoons creamy Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz)
  • 4 slices whole-grain bread
Instructions:
  • Preheat grill for indirect grilling per manufacturer's instructions. Cut two 12-inch square pieces of heavy-duty foil. Combine tuna, onion, bell pepper, pickles, mustard, and cheese in a small bowl.
  • Spread the tuna mixture onto 2 slices of bread and sandwich with the remaining slices. Wrap each sandwich tightly in foil, leaving room for air circulation and expansion.
  • Lay the packets over the cooler section of the grill, cover, and grill for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the sandwiches are heated through.
