Grilled chicken breasts marinated in flavorful sauces, cumin, and taco seasoning, ideal for a delicious main dish, protein-packed salad, or crowd-pleasing potluck recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons from 1 container (6.25 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/4 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Instructions:
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Combine taco seasoning mix and oregano in a shallow bowl. Brush chicken with oil and generously season with the taco seasoning mixture.
  • Grill the chicken over medium heat, ensuring to cover the grill. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping once, until the chicken's juices run clear when the thickest part is cut (170°F).
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine barbecue sauce, chili sauce, and cumin. Cover and microwave on High for 30 to 60 seconds until heated through. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken before serving.
