Spice up your grilled burger with green chiles, avocado, and cheese for a delicious taco twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 can (4 oz) Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles
  • 4 (3/4-oz.) slices hot pepper Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 ripe medium avocado, pitted, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 sandwich buns, split
  • 2 tablespoons taco sauce
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 4 thin slices tomato
Instructions:
  • Mix ground beef and chiles in a medium bowl until well combined. Shape the mixture into four 1/2-inch thick patties.
  • Preheat a nonstick stove-top grill pan over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook for 2 minutes. Lower heat to medium-low and continue cooking for 6 to 10 minutes until patties are no longer pink in the center, flipping once. Place a piece of cheese on top of each patty and cook until melted.
  • In a small bowl, combine mashed avocado and mayonnaise until smooth. Spread avocado mixture on bottom halves of buns. Place patties on top, then add taco sauce, lettuce, tomato, and bun tops. Enjoy your flavorful burger!
