Whisk ground flax seeds with warm water for a simple vegan egg substitute in baking.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons very warm water
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
Instructions:
  • Combine water and ground flax seeds in a bowl, whisk briskly for 30 seconds until well mixed. Allow it to rest until slightly thickened, for about 2 minutes.
  • Whisk vigorously for 30 seconds, then allow it to rest until thickened, approximately 2 more minutes.
