Ingredients:
  • 440g can crushed pineapple
  • 100g piece cheddar
  • 17cm round pitta breads
  • 140g container pizza sauce
  • 100g shaved ham, chopped
  • 310g can corn kernels, drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. Drain the pineapple using a sieve, pressing with a spoon to extract the juice, doing so over the sink or a bowl.
  • Grate the cheddar cheese using a hand grater.
  • Lay the pitta breads on baking trays and use the back of a spoon to generously spread pizza sauce over them.
  • Generously top the pitta breads with cheese, ham, pineapple, and corn.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and the top is beautifully golden. Allow it to cool briefly on a wire rack before slicing into perfect wedges.
