Delicious pasta salad with ham, peas, Cheddar, and shell pasta in a zesty lemon mayo dressing. Ideal for picnics or potlucks.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package medium pasta shells
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 cup diced Cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 pound deli ham, diced
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
  • Boil lightly salted water in a pot. Add the shell pasta and cook for 10 to 11 minutes until tender yet firm. Drain the pasta.
  • In a large bowl, mix together peas, Cheddar, ham, onion, mayonnaise, oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat well. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
