Savory ham loaf with tangy brown sugar glaze, perfect for a special Sunday dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground ham
  • 1.5 pounds ground pork
  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix together ham, pork, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined. Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to the prepared baking dish.
  • Cook in the oven preheated for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Craft a delicious glaze while the loaf is baking by mixing brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard powder in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the loaf and bake until a thermometer inserted into the center reads 160°F (72°C), around 15 minutes longer.
