Savory baked beans with ground beef, bacon, and onions in a zesty sauce. Perfect for potlucks!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 (15 ounce) can baked beans with pork
  • 3 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, drained
Instructions:
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, turning occasionally. Transfer to paper towels to drain, then discard the grease. In the same skillet, crumble the ground beef and cook over medium heat until browned. Add the onions and cook until just wilted.
  • Place the beef, onions, and crumbled bacon in a slow cooker. Add the baked beans and pinto beans. Mix in the ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, white sugar, and mustard powder. Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 6 hours. Serve hot.
