Create a quick and easy birthday cake using Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix, Frosting, and Decorating Icings for a stress-free celebration.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 2 1/2 cups from 2 (16 oz) tubs Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Creamy White Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ Decorating Icings (White, Red, Green, Purple, Orange)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and liberally grease the bottom of two 8-inch round pans with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Follow the baking instructions on the box for 8-inch round pans. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Let the cakes cool completely for about 1 hour.
  • Start by elegantly positioning one cake layer, with the bottom side facing up, on a beautiful serving plate. Indulge it with a generous 1/2 cup of frosting. Gracefully add the second cake layer, placing it bottom side down. Frost the sides and top of the cake with the rest of the frosting. Get creative and adorn the cake to your heart's desire, taking inspiration from the photo.
  • Let cool uncovered at room temperature.
