Tropical teriyaki chicken with a zesty pineapple-soy dip. Oahu-inspired deliciousness!
Ingredients:
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 cups teriyaki sauce, divided
  • 6 pineapple rings
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup soy sauce
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
  • Marinate the chicken breast halves in 1 1/2 cups of teriyaki sauce in a dish, cover, and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Fire up the grill on high heat.
  • Prepare the grill by lightly oiling the grate. Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 8 minutes on each side until juices run clear. Brush with teriyaki sauce in the last 5 minutes of grilling. Add a pineapple ring on each chicken breast towards the end and brush with melted butter for extra flavor.
  • Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar is fully dissolved. Enjoy as a delicious dipping sauce for chicken!
