Tropical iced black tea with pineapple juice, a Hawaiian-inspired refreshing party beverage.
Ingredients:
  • 1 quart barely boiling hot water
  • 4 orange pekoe tea bags
  • 1 quart ice cold water
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup simple syrup
  • 1 fresh pineapple - peeled, cored, and cut into spears
Instructions:
  • 1. Gradually infuse just boiled water into a spacious pitcher, then introduce the tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 2 to 4 minutes. Discard the tea bags and mix in the chilled water and pineapple juice. Refrigerate until fully cold, approximately 1 1/2 hours.
  • Serve the tea over ice, garnished with pineapple spears.
